In Agios Athanasios of Drama and at a short distance from the vineyard, the heart of the Michaelidis Estate beats. The winery performs all the necessary work for the production of the estate’s wines from start to finish.
There, the raw material is received shortly after the grapes are harvested and processing begins on the modern machinery available at the production plant.
The winery has 18 stainless steel tanks, and the wines are aged for a full year in the specially designed, air-conditioned basement, holding 55 oak barrels.
There, in the same area of the winery, bottling is carried out in a modern production line in order to achieve the highest possible quality of the wines at all stages. The winery is open to visitors by appointment.
