Anatolikos Vineyards was founded in 2005 by Sakis and Marios Nikolaidis, experienced entrepreneurs of Xanthi in the fields of gastronomy and large-scale hospitality.
The privately owned organic vineyard is located in the area of Avdira in Xanthi, Thrace. In the city of Avdira, a Thracian town known since ancient times, an initiative began in 2000 to revive the vineyards, famous since antiquity. Contributing to this effort, in 2005 Anatolikos Vineyards began cultivating both indigenous and international varieties.
The organic vineyard is located in the arid hills of Avdira, at an altitude of 50-70 meters and approximately 3 kilometers from the Thracian Sea. The vineyard’s sandy soil, continuous cool winds and the Avdira microclimate all contribute decisively to the production of high-quality wines.
